Just in time for Halloween!I was lucky enough to get a virgin Electro Vee hull and I built this bad boy from assorted parts I had accumulated thus the name Frankenboat. Kershaw 700 motor,Jeti Navy speed control,Chinese strut and rudder,Graupner 4mm flex and 40mm prop,CEN coupler and Futaba/Hitec radio parts.Haven't had it in water yet but seems to run pretty strong![8D]

You NEED a stuffing tube. That flex shat will wobble like H***!

I agree, looks pretty scary! The rest of the boat is tight[sm=thumbs_up.gif], but just buy a piece of brass pipe for that liner. it's called a liner for a reason.

Been there and done that when you get it on the water it will load the prop and wad the shaft up with out a liner,by the way I have had 2 of these hulls and they are probably one of the most fun and cheap hulls out there. They like 12 cells and handle very nice with them. These hulls perform better with the steerable outdrive

Really? That's odd...

A strut and rudder setup should remove a lot of friction from the drivetrain. Especially when steering.
