which one!?!

I am looking for a boat that can cut through little chop. Which one will last the longest with a lipo battery(if it can use it), and go the fastest even on a smooth day. i was looking at:

aqua craft supervee 27r
aqua craft rio ep
Pro boat widow maker
Pro boat black jack 26 brushless cat
Traxxas Villian ex
Or should i wait for the Traxxas Titan
I have a aqua craft super vee 27. i is very nice its just on windy days i need something that will handle chop.

RE: which one!?!

And your SV 27 won't handle the chop?

RE: which one!?!

It bounces to much and has flipped before.

Ok....don't have experience with the Proboats or the Traxxas Villan, but I can tell you this

The SV 27r has the same hull as yours
The Rio Ep has a deeper V, but it aint FE.
The Titan....well that remains to be seen.............

RE: which one!?!

Out of the box....about 20...maybe 25.....it has a brushed motor...while the SV 27 has a brushless. It aint FE by no means....look at the price comparison....$150...vs.....$300.

RE: which one!?!

How much of a pain would it be to convert it to brushless?

RE: which one!?!

There are many ways and even a company that has a conversion kit. You must first find the right motor and then a matching ESC. I am not brushless savvy.....yet....I am packing a SV 27 nitro and a relative has a Rio Ep which I got to run...and had to help him repair....his reciever and servo went out...but now it runs fine. The biggest thing is that the hull was not designed to go thart fast....however...there are people on Youtube who have done it.

The SV 27 hull is much wider at the transom to handle the extra speed.

Email this guy as he can help you way better than I canif you want to do the Rio Brushless conversion.

RE: which one!?!

Good luck.....I ran my SV 27 today in windy choppy conditions and it did skip a lot and even got airborne once but it did not flip. However....on another day...same conditions it did do a barrel roll and got the engine dizzy....these boats are a combo of fast speed and V hull versitality, however...the V is not that deep.
