Got one of the 2 hulls built on Sat....or should i say mocked up?! Used my hardware to line up everything and drilled, just waiting on hardware to come to bolt on. Only thing in at the moment is engine. I will start building mine closer to the end of the week, wrap next week and testing first week of Jan. once holiday blows over. Thanks Rick for such great hulls.....both the Fountains and the Victory cat![sm=shades_smile.gif][sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Wow those are big steps can see those causing some real handling issues when turning, how do they run ,reason i ask is every hull ive seen with steps like this dont turn very well at all.Great looking boat though i really like her just feel the steps are a bit deep.

Hey Mart...the steps are not as deep as they look in person. They are actually almost a similar height to my SV43 steps. And my GTX has even deeper steps and turns great at a good speed.

Steps are fine as I have seen and own a hull with much deeper steps. I will post a video once they are ready to test so you can see how boat handles!

Mind you i don't expect it to turn as fast as the smaller AC,Rampage,Aeromarine or other heat racing mono hulls can do.

thats lemons to oranges, considering one is for heat racing and the other one is for more rough water racing or toying around. plus the size of the boat is a big difference. 45 vs 58 is the difference between single engine to dual or two cylinder.

You are absolutely correct....it is like lemons and oranges! But some wouldn't look at it like that,so I had to put that in there so they don't try to compare the two different type hulls.
