RE: RCMK twin = 52cc's of rubbish
HEY GUYS!!!!
Just got back to this post after working a few nights of night shift. Sort of dissapointed that my problem with an RCMK engine (obviously experienced by others as well) appears to have been turned into a slanging match between some of the posters. Thanks to the posters who offered advice and support, some of which seems to have worked so far. Boo Hoo to the others who got off the subject and wanted to use the post to attack other posters for WHATEVER REASON. I dont know any of you personally, and I don't post often, but I do read threads that relate to my hobby.
As the old saying goes, "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing".
Again, thanks to those who supported the post and offered advice. I see no further reason to continue this thread and won't post again on it.

jocool,
Great to see you got it running, I had a lot of problems with my first gassers back in tne 80's mainly due to not really knowing how to run them. Small problems like bad conections are 90% of problems. Because I run in salt water I replace all bolts in the motors with stainless before I even mount the motors.
Cheers

i apologize for letting myself get pulled off topic, i started with good intentions, i think as you get some time in with the inline, you will never look back, there is some good video posted on jims boat dock, showing a Aeromarine cat running 74 mph first time out, i believe ,Al went through that motor as well, i know he does the ones for Ross Medina that built the boat, ON A GOOD NOTE, al has also said for the last few months the motors he has taken apart to clean and deburred, probably did not need it.so its nice to see that the wheels are turning in the right direction for RCMK, and the extra material on the transfer port area of the k-30 cylinders, are going to set them apart,

Hey guys there's nothing wrong with a twin-engine you just have to get them to go as it comes idle and high and low speed needle!
and easy starter is very good to get some swings in pressure! it helps!
I will use one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8mbloz2Go8&list=PL31C4B7F41F4F4DDF&index= 6&feature=plpp_video
