The Hobby-King is a piece of s***.

[link=http://www.jrcbd.com/showthread.php?t=63625]Thread on Jim's[/link] from Lohring Miller :

Hobby King Jet Pump
I recently purchased a Hobby King jet unit and was very disappointed at the quality.
For a start the ball bearing bore was .015" (.38 mm) out of round. As a result the inlet halves wouldn't clamp together.
The screw on one side of the bore was stripped. After helicoiling the two screw holes on either side of the ball bearing housing ,
to #4-40, I very carefully rebored the bearing bores to .001" (.03 mm) undersize on the bearings.
This also aligned the bearing bore with the nozzle mating surface. However, this lead to binding on the impeller shaft.
A check showed that the shaft had .005" (13 mm) or more runout depending on how it was held.
I held it on its center and the stator bearing surface which gives the least runout.
The shaft was also undersize, so a new shaft was made. The impeller has almost .040" (1 mm) clearance.
Since 10", full size impellers often run less than .010" (.25 mm) clearance, I would expect this to seriously effect performance.
I trued the impeller and the stator (They were a few thousandths out of round with their bores.),
drilled and tapped the stator for a grease fitting, and bored the nozzle out a little for a wear ring.
It is .080" (2 mm) thick UHMW held in with a press fit and CA.
There were other issues with play in the steering and trim nozzle as well.
See the discussion on the [link=http://modeljetboat.com/forum/index.php?topic=652.0]Model Jet Boat forum[/link] for others' solutions that I also used.
The NZ one is almost a work of art.

What do you mean? i don't understand your question. In their webpage you  have all the data, price, shipping time, stock, description etc, the jet power 3 is not in stock, but  you should drop a message to Shirley Bombelka, she will give you all the info you need.

Not good so far, poor fitting, sloppy workmanship and stripped threads. Lotza luck if you have to return it as their service isn't very good. Whatever's wrong they'll try to blame you for.

Hi Mate
do yourself a power of good and phone Mhz direct, they will probably answer the phone in german but most of them speak english, if you ask for sherly ( she speaks perfect english and knows what she's talking about ) shes works untill 2pm weekdays and will certainly help you out, great people to deal with.

Nice and tidy. You might find the engine has a problem with the carb cover on, if it starts a kind of surging on and off behaviour when running at high revs, take off the cover and try it.

Let me know what you think of the Jettec unit, Adam seems to do nice work.

Nice solution with that bend-up manifold.

Not MY choise ... I would put the exhaust into the nose ... so nothing protruding the stern.

Obviously you've found a good TIG-welder .. so make that exhaust a 'wrapped-arround' , (Mathe-style)

then it's even shorter.

Ha ha ... a J&G into a squirthull ? Did you want to scare some people ? ha ha
