I bought a 1/8 scale miss bud from a guy for $300 the body is in good shape but needs engine, turn fin, rudder assy and a controller . on the website most of the parts are discontinued. any info on what to get or a good place to pick up parts would be great. thanks peoples.

Fortunately the Miss Bud has a lot of parts that you can get from other sources which can't be said for a lot of RTR boats.They used a lot of Prather hardware which can still be gotten through Hyperformance Products, www.hyperprod.com .I think that you paid a tad too much for basically a stripped-down boat.

These hulls handle well if they are set up right ...
Finding a new engine is not an issue ... finding a clutch that will fit may be problematic ...
Try Bonzi Sports or Enforcer RC ... they are familiar with Pro Boats and have some replacement parts in stock ... Customer service is very helpful and they are both american companies ...
