A friend of mine sent me the pics. Said the guy is selling it. Has a spare motor a few parts and old radio gear. He didn't really get any more info other than that. Supposedly it runs. I just wasn't sure what kind it was.

i don,t know what brand of mono hull this is but as far as the engine and pipe go it looks to be a zenoah g23 [ 22.5 cc ] first model zenoah plus the pipe looks to be a B.H.Hanson design.

My guess is the hull is an Aeromarine Challenger Deep vee without the hatch. They had a 43 inch and 48 inch version.

Hard to say what it is worth. Pictures are small and dark - lacking detail. A good RTR version with stock 260 zenoah would sell used in the $450 - 600 range.

Better pictures would help with identifying components you have as well as if you decide to sell. A tape measure will let you know which length hull you have.

Looks like an Aeromarine Challenger to me also.

Okay, now that the guys have figured out what boat and engine, it's time to talk radio gear.
First off, if one of you plans on buying the boat, plan on getting a new radio. There may be nothing wrong with what's in it except that, if it's a very old system, it may need new parts and, since many of the manufacturers have changed things(i.e. Futaba has changed the connectors on battery packs, servos and receivers), replacement parts may not be available, making a new radio the only option. While it's still possible(thought getting more and more difficult) to get new 27 and 75 MHz systems, plan on a 2.4 GHz. The 2.4 GHZ is the standard frequency range used by almost all new radios.

This isn't mine. a friend of mine found it at a job and talked to the guy. He didn't really have info on it though. and by the time i got back to my friend he had already left the guys house to ask more questions. I dont know on the 450-650 though. (unless this is a boat thats worth more) I was watching a pro boat shockwave ss that was on ebay for months. it ended up selling for 350-375 and it took a while to sell at that. this boat has an old am radio and older runing gear.

Yeah. I would say it needs new gear for sure. The guy wants 350$ for it I think. (If memory serves)
