From what I've heard the boat sucks. And I wouldn't waste 900 bucks on crap.

I have a shockwave and its not crap!! Never had one single problem with it. Only thing that happend was the wind sheild broke when I did a flip. People say that its crap dont have one, so they woudn't know! Also there is plenty of upgrades for the engine that comes with it. I just ordered a Black Widow kit from BH Hanson for it. The boat handles good in rough water alot better than other boats I seen. The radio system that comes with it is great. When my boat was stock I raced a Prather Fun Cruiser with 30cc Homie with tuned pipe, ported cylinder, water jacket and on and on, and I flew right past him. Hey um AARONIE explain why you think its crap. Anyways MICHAELB I would get the boat, its fun, reliable, and handles great. And by the way I paid $799 for mine not $900 BUCKS!

Neither have you,300 for a running Shockwave is a bargain, granted 900 is too much but I'd take a Shockwave over a cheap splash any day of the week regardless of quality,at least its original not ripped off from someelses hard work.

I'm 16 years young too! I do not mean to slam your boat. Us young ones are the people who will keep this hobby going. When you are ready to upgrade go with an AC Models hull and you will see the difference and not be disappointed. But, for now stick with the greatest hobby going.

If you want, head over to [link=http://p202.ezboard.com/bamericanscaleoffshoremodelboatassociation]ASMBA[/link] where all the cool rc boaters hang out.

Talk to Big Roger over at Scorpion Marine and he'll hook you up with one of his phat deep-vees.

I saw there hulls and they do look great. But for a person that is a beginner into this hobby, the Shockwave is great. If you want to step up to something better, build it yourself.

Thanks

Forabuck, Warehouse Hobbies, and AC Models made my hulls. But, if you are talking about building the rest of the boat. I do that myself.
