Default Aeromarine Bud Style Hydro - NEED ADVICE

My Aeromarine 1/8 scale Bud style hydro hull (43 3/4" length) arrived today and this is my first attempt at installing everything myself. I've run other hydros like the Dumas Miss Circuc Circus and Atlas Van Lines hydro and outriggers but they were already built and ready to run so I want to make sure I do everything right. What is a good motor for this hull?? Nitro .67 - .80 - .85 - .90 Which make OPS, Mac or??? OR Gas motor like Zenoah, Quickdraw? I want this thing to scream!! What is good running gear for this type hull? Any information that you can post for my project would br GREATLY APPRECIATED

Thanks in advance - Tom

that hull is a tad small for a zenoah for pure go fast a much lighter nitro engine is the way to go but not for th uninitiated as big nitro engines are cantankerous and parts gluttons

I looked into putting a zen in that hull, out of the question, everything is too tight, including rail centers.Cowl won't fit at all when done.

I'm thinking about a MAC .84 - how's that for a power plant? What size drive hardware do you recommend - .187" OR .250"
