Default mhz and other i/o drives

does anyone use the mhz drives?? how are they ,looks like alot of parts for something at such a high rpm and is anyone else making some i/o's wanting one for a 48" mono[>:]

are you reffering to the mercruiser style (true i/o) as opposed to the surface piercing drive? if so, justaddwatta uses them but i think that they are more suited for larger boats. it would probably look pretty goofy on a 48" boat but i can't say how it would perform. and yes, i think that there is another company that makes one. i think its a german company also, i could be wrong though.

An American company from Florida is supposed to be coming out with one according to xxxboatworks.

MHZ makes the S6 drive and the Z drive. The Z drive is slightly smaller and would look more scale on your 48" boat.
