I don't think that the Super G hull is a very good candidate for the QD because I have seen it run and doubt that it would be very stable with that much power and speed.

I know the hull of the super G isn't that good. When im at Top Speed it rocks side to side. And sometimes it wants to blow over. I was thinking just to get a pipe,water-cool it and put a hatch on it.

That would work well because as you said I think the hull is at it's speed limit right now. In order to keep it from blowing over or tipping over, I would trim down the tabs, if you have them on your boat. That would help a lot.

I trim the tabs sown to keep the nose down but just lose my top speed. I rather get my Full top speed and just risk it. Sometimes the whole boat is out of the water except the prop and that's how I like it. I've seen fins on the sides of some boats is that to kepp the boat from a barrel roll?

The fins you see are turn fins. Usually on the right hand side and optionally on the left. Many Vees wont turn so well without them.

I too like keeping the trim up on a boat and making the most of the speed. If it gets too outa shape hopefully you can back off in time

fortunately, my boat always rights it's self almost imediately and it always keeps running. i don't know if this is typical of a boat with canopy style hatch or if its just an accidental bonus in the design. i know the designer didn't have it in mind when shaping it. the motor is mounted fairly low too which doesn't hurt. when it blows over it just skips upside down and backwards until it slows down and vola! it rights its self. it still scares the poo out of me!

lzvagias - that certainly is a bonus if it can come in under its own power !! thing to watch (though the hatch will help) is that you do not get water in the boat (and then the carb) as you will end up with a metalic clunk (an expensive noise for anyone unfortunate enough to have heard it).
