Default Prop balancing and sharpening

How difficult is it to learn to balance/sharpen props? I know modifying can be very complicated. Can anyone recommend a reference for the novice?

Thanks

Paul, go up to the next forum, Nitro boats. We have a sticky right at the top that gives you some links that show you how easy it is to do. The first one is always the scariest, kind of like drilling your first hole in a transom of a new boat.

We all do Paul. I've built quite a few and there still is a little hesitation yet.
With props, I only do the basics. I have a buddy that lives less than a mile away that loves to rework props so I let him at have it with mine. He knows that every time that I ding one up, he'll get it to try something new.
