Default g-45

can anyone tell me about the g-45 engine for boats.are they fast ,slow,good,or no good.
I have a 28'' hull and a 50'' hull that i need a engine for.

Talking about the Marine Specialties engine? If so, it's supposed to be pretty fast but it's almost as expensive as the QD35cc. I'd personnally for that kind of money buy the race proven QD. Other's might have different opinions.

You will have big powerful "slow" boat. the revs arent there and your hull sizes 28" and 50" doesnt warrant using such a large engine

A boat that small would be faster with a smaller engine like a g23 or26.
