Hehe Another starting boat question
i was thinking of a 1/5 scale RC car...but after haveing this hurricane i noticed that liveing beside the water and not haveing a boat would be stupid so i am thinking of geting http://whobbies.com/superg.htm (the super G) with the radio {(MAGUM JR. 2-CHANNEL STANDARD) sorry bout the caps...i copy and pasted} and the failsafe they sale. is that a good idea? if not can u tell me what would be to good boat to buy for less than $1000.
Thanks

RE: Hehe Another starting boat question
From what I understand the super G is a good starter and will run in the 30's with no problem. The failsafe is handy to have as it is much better that it stops in the water rather than plowing into the bank at full speed.
I have a team pro which hits about 34mph at top speed which I find fast enough for playing around, but it is with my gear and not the same as the super G which i believe is better than mine. I think it would be a better option than some of the cheap alternatives out there, solid and reliable.
