A decent radio set up will set u back at least $300, so you will be up to $800. If it had a relatively new Zen 26 cc, preferably modified, then I would get it..... if it has a Homie.... offer less

I think a top of the line radio setup and servos will set you back $300. An adequate radio is certainly less.
$500 for a good usable well setup used boat is not a bad price. But $500 for someone elses problems is a bit much. If you consider a brand new 50" hull will set you back $300 unpainted it puts things into a good price perspective.

I respect your experience, but I was assuming he had nothing.... figure a PCM radio with throttle servo and fail safe $180, Nicads $60 - $70, steering servo $40, charger $40 .

homelite

Personally, with a homelite motor and no radio, I think it's not worth it. If it had a Zen or Sikk...... maybe. I already said that ealier. I'd offer $350.
