well its ready to run... still need a flat bottom strut, but if the weather cooperates tomorrow and the water is flat she'll be gettin wet. Bent 100ΒΊ header (thanks Mark) worked perfect and no need to cut cowl at all [8D]

Well just got back from the lake. Water was a bit choppy, so i didnt really get a chance to try opening her up...but did get 46.4mph @ 11020rpm at only 1/2 throttle. What i thought was full throttle ended up being throttle issues (rod was sliding in the clevis ). I dont see why once i have the right strut and some more tuning this thing shouldnt be in the 60's [8D]

Nice Job Believe It!

It brings a tear to my eye when I think about the loss of my stryker [:@] Having said that this is my new replacement Sports Hydro. Should have it ready in a week.

it already came polished, i just shined it up a little more. But the way i do my own props is sand with 320, then 600, 1000/1500. Usually all wet sanding (in sink with small stream hitting blade im working on). Then i either use MAAS metal polish and rub it on with a rag, or i use some other king of hard type polish with a small buffing wheel on my dremel.
