Default Prop Question For A AC Razor...........

What prop would you guys suggest for a AC Razor with a stock Zen 260 in it? Im now running a B/S Prather 275 on it.
It runs real good with it. But i was wondering; could it run BETTER?? Thanks for any help.

Default RE: Prop Question For A AC Razor...........

ive tried an octura x470/3 on my delta force with stock zen 260 and it went a lot faster but my mate who races in omra said the motor was not peeking and recommended a walbro 257 ported carb and the 270/3.
ive just set the boat up with them on now, cant wait to try her...........Pete

Are you looking for all around good performance (holds the R's at full throttle in turns, etc.) or all out straight line speed...?

Could try a X472 2 blade, ABC G20 or MW3 like mentioned (though i found a MW3 is hard to pull the R's with a stocker). Just remember you want a low lift prop

thanks...looking for all around good performence. it seems to run hard in the straights and fall off a bit in the turns.

what pipe are you running? and at what length. If its falling off the pipe in the turns with a 275, it sounds like the pipe is too short..

to be honest im not sure what pipe it is. i think it is a steel sonic racing pipe. and it is not adjustable.

it is not a band pipe.

ok, measure from the center of the exhaust port straight back to the weld on the pipe and let me know what it is.
