What kinda 25cc motors? Rear exhaust, Side exhaust, Zenoah, QD, Homelite??? Big difference in what boat to use.

You have a budget in mind?

If money is no object then certainly the Swiss cats are hard to beat. The Christo 03 or 04 should be up to most tasks - http://www.swissmodelpowerboatteam.c...wProducts&id=1

From the US there are a few more choices - Expresscraft offer a few cats like the [link=http://www.expresscraft.com/cougarcat.htm]Cougar Cat [/link]or MTI cat that will both be up to the task and end up around 1/2 the price of one from Europe.

Also one of the Sonic Racing hulls though you may want more power to see what they can do. http://sonicracingaustralia.com/CFC.htm

Is there a particular style you like?

But Swiss and sonic model normally running with 4 engines.very hard. My budget is for only Two engines
Between MTI and Cougar which be more fast.

The two sizes of Swiss boat I mentioned are for 2 motors - not 4

I would believe the more streamlined Cougar to be a little faster than the MTI. MTI would probably work best in a choppy environment though.

Tough call between a twin cat and a twin Vee. With a single motor Cat Vs Vee the cat will usually have the edge in speed on smooth water. If things are pretty rough then a deep Vee will have an advantage. It kinda boils down to what you like and want to drive. Not talking dramatic differences in speed and if it is a fun boat then I am sure either will work well for you.

I personally like the Expresscraft GTX Vee which is 65" long and will accomodate twin motors or an inline setup well. There have been a few builds done on RCU and think you will find favorable reviews for the boat. One member with an inline Zenoah is in the 60's and I believe he will be going quicker with it yet.

Another big vee is the 56" Apache from Aeromarine that will also take twins or an inline and perform well.

A twin motor setup is only going to perform as well as you are at tuning it. More often thatn not you will see single motor powered boats achieving better speeds than twin motors in the same boat. Getting two motors to run at their peak will take some experience.

Wow!! that what I'm looking for - a nice looking single canopy Cat - I've been looking for a Cat that i can do 80kms ++ but still unsure, as i don't know which is good or best suited for that kind of speeds & also don't if i want to go Brushless or nitro/gas hope you guys can help this question?
- for the speed i want to achieve which one is better suited to reach - Pro's & Cons? Brushless or Nitro/gas.....single or twin motor set up?
I've looked at hulls from Hydro Marine, MHZUSA and even the smaller Toysport Jollycat. looking for something in the range 4-5ft
