Default SW 55 VS BJ 55..............

Stock comparison...................

Seems to be a large range of claimed speeds and reviews.

What are the average stock (rtr) numbers of these boats?

Is one better than the other?

Will one lend itself to modifications in the future more than the other?

And yes, I have been searching for 2 days, but have more questions than answers..........

TIA!

i had both boats and enjoyed them quite a bit. i like the bj just because i like cats. other than that, i think they are both good boats. both run zenoahs engines which are among the best in our hobby. beside a clutch from bonzi and hardware from aeromarine there arnt many hop ups for the boats. im sure you would enjoy either one of these guys alot

P.S. my bj ran 41 and the sw ran 44. im new to boats and i still have really learnd how to set up a boat so i could have gotten more speed if i had more experience with the set up on boats.

He is saying shop around. You can get them cheaper. Maybe keep an eye out on ebay.

MOST definately SHOP AROUND, I picked my SS up from a RCU member for 375.00 +shipping,complete,RTR...... Be Patient, the SS is a great sport boat to start with, but if you plan on doing more than sporting around, there are more versatile options and offerings out there... [8D]

IMO get something from WHH, or aeromarine of one of the US builders, some are almost the same price, i a speaking from experience, you WILL want to upgrade shortly when you see the huge contrast between mass builds and the other guys...i know everyone says this but it is becuase it is fact, after upgrading and strengthening etc, you will cost yourself more money.....
