Beautiful boat ! Love the look. Is it only for drag racing or does it turn well. Yea Tony c at Warehouse Hobbies is a great guy, His customer service skills are amazing. He will go out of his way to help anyone, Just be ready to listen.

It's a drag boat but it will turn . You have to be easy in the corners . I read here in a crackerbox thread to round the left chine ( port side ) to make the crackerbox's turn better . Sounds like a good idea I might try it on the flatty . Here's a short video of it turning . http://rcuvideos.com/video/Sub-surface-drive-028-MOV

Dana, I noticed the date on that vid, is that the latest design bottom? and is that with the WHH M-6? that looks fast enough for me, for the time being anyway! what's the diff. in handling/ accel. between the shallow-V & the runner? (I sure do ask alot of questions, don't I?
)

No the boat in that video has a stock Zenoah 260 and a 3" modified center runner . The new design has the 4" center runner and a step under the bow . The new design also tuns alittle better because I also rounded the front bow . The runner bottom doesn't blow over as easy as the shallow V did . I discontinued making the shallow V .

I GOT IT!!! (so much for fedex tracking) opened the well protected shipping box, and took it out. UNBELIVABLE, SUPURB CRAFTSMANSHIP!!! comes completely finished, primed, and ready for my first basecoat of chroma-base!!!! Again, I have to say thanks to DANA, his quality of workmanship is second to none! I would recomend his boats to anyone, He has a customer for life as far as I'm concerned!!!! Here's some pic's of it right out of the box......

STILL WAITING for the engine, when it gets here, I'll be hittin' ya up for mounting location specs ! but first, I guess paint is in order! at least the first coat of white for the deck!

You might want to set it up first while it's still primer . That way you don't have to worry about scratching your new paint job . Been there , done that .

Blownjet, do you race the jet or just a weekend warrior? I raced Jets for about 10 years with the SLDBA, SDBA,CSDBA, & IHBA. My boat was R&D Express #845. I would like to build a TFH one of these days (RC).
