Default Rio 51 need help

my Rio 51 ran on a submerged rock pulling the prop out about a 1/2 inch, after disassembley itappears there are thrust washers to prevent the shaft from sliding out of the drive, my questions are;
1. is there any forward/ back play in the prop/shaft from the factory?
2. how many washers are on the forward part of the shaft? and in what order (plastic/metal/plastic etc)?
3. should the drive cable be tight in the drive coming out of the engine?
Thank you
