I WAS DETERMINED TO PUT A WEEDIE MOTOR IN A BOAT AND IM "NOW" I AM GOING TO DO SO!!!!!!!!!!
THERE IS A NEW HOBBY SHOP HERE IN LHC AND I LOOKED AT THE BRUSHLESS MOTORS ALONG WITH SOME LIPOS AND NEEDLESS TO SAY...................ITS A NO GO FOR A BUDGETBUILD LIKE MINE.....!!!!!!!!!
IM BUILDING A 5 IN WIDE OUTRIGGER ABOUT THE SIZE OF OUR COFFEE IN MY LIVING ROOM
NITRO SUCKS WHEN YOUR POOR AND I VE TO FAR AWAY FROM THE LIKE TO CHARGE 2 $80 BATERIES HAND HAVE FUN FOR A HOUR........
MY FRIENDS ALL THINK THE HULL WOULD B AWSOME AND IM HELL BOUND TO GET IT

dont bother put a weedie in a rigger, too heavy and slow, it will never plane out properly, riggers are a race boat for powerfull engines, if you really want a rigger and are on a budget at least buy an old zenoah g230 marine engine, you could pick one up for under $100 used
or if you really want to use a weedie engine then build a mono, heres a pic of one i built with a weedie engine, half the people on this forum probably have the same set of plans i used and theyd be more than happy to email them to you

I never thought much about it but you boaters get more active time with them, at least no chrashes like us Heli nutts! are there super sized models out there I really like the Cigars, and Hattaras Yahcts even though on a payscale like mine i'm a few hundred thousand dollars short! lol
