Trust me there was not even a scratch...the only problem that i encountered was that since the
boat was upside down for about 5 mins water got into the engine somehow so it was a pain to
start the motor to flush it out.You have to remember that the Rio collided with a hydroplane so
it just scooped me up and over. [8D]

Good that no damage was done, to restart after a flip, pull the spark plug out, turn the boat upside down (again!) and pull the starter, when water stops coming out, dry the plug and refit, you should be able to start it fairly easy. Give it a good run to dry it out especially the bottom end.

Weather looks great. I am jealous!

Unfortunately the crash happened in the evening, we got all the water out and were able to get
the motor fired up and idling then put her in the water ran good but no water was spewing out of the side
hence no cooling. We brought it in adjusted the tube put her out back and still nothing and since it was getting
dark we had to pack it in for the day.[:@][:@][:@]
I sincerely hope all the water came out of the engine because we are talking about salt water here.[]
By the way the weather was great all day.

For the half hour it takes to strip a Zen and rebuild it might be worth pulling it apart to have a look Huw. At least if the bearings are damaged you won't run it like that and damage other components.

Just a thought. If you do pull it to bits, have a full gasket set to hand! and might be worth fitting a stainles bolt kit to it if you always run in salt water.

It is the stock fugi motor in there so if there are any issues i will just drop in the Zen.
