Where you get that carby isolator from Steve?????
It doesn't look like a zen clone one...????
One thing, turn the top plate on the carby around so that the hole is at the lowest point. Stops water from gathering in side the cover.

Well I thought it was time I brushed the cobwebs off this project and carry on with it, set the motor today (C/G 30%) it's tight to get at the mount bolts at the front but it should be ok. Also trimed a bit more glass around the carb and header, might need a bit more fir the carb so I can get my bat fingers down there to choke it. Next is the flex tube support. Also got myself another to on it's way, should see it Monday or Tuesday. http://powerslideracing.com.au/index...oducts_id=2419

I fished one out of the Brisbane River and use it for my car spares. Do you think they might want it back?

Lookin' good there Stevo.
You have been a busy guy indeed.
Me, well, I finally made it back from the bush late Xmas eve (luckily or I would've been hung, drawn and quartered).
I now have the workshop powered and lit like a xmas tree so I am good to get building again.....................I've got a million projects to catch up on now..........................let the building begin. Just didn't pick the right day to do it (yesterday @ 40*C wasnt friendly at all)
If I don't catch you beforehand, have a great new years mate (and you too Ross....................apologies I missed your text @xmas, only just turned the phone on the other arvo and promptly switched her off again as I needed a well earned break)
Stay safe gents
Johno

Thanks Johnno, Good to see you got back for xmas with the kids. i will have to come around and check out the new shed and projects sometime soon.
Got the wet sanding done today and a can (small) of clear on the top and sides. i will let it harden up for 5-7 days(says on the can) and give it a buff, should come up real nice.

ended up getting new engine mounts and a twin water pickup rudder off Collin, the mounts will be easer to get the motor in and out.

Times are a changing, resigned from the current job this morning and moving onto different things that "should" enable me to get building again and even get pondside. A sacrifice on the pay scale (small), but that will be offset by being able to spend time with the boys (and in the shed) which is more important to me. Money isnt everything in this work, quality of life is now a big priority. Been an average 18mths with everything, but the new career should see me at home more and building
More soon
Johno
