Hesco, do you have one of these?Would like to know why you think the way you do about them. They are not as "flashy" as the more common radios, but.....

I'm sure that as far as the signal goes, it would work fine, it's the same as the Tactic radio that Aquacraft is using in the Miss Vegas Deuce hydro. The downside is the lack of any adjustments like EPA's as it only has trims and servo reversing. I'd rather wait for them to make a little higher level radio with just a few more features.

No boys now this is getting out of hand. i thought I was the only one that had 2.4 "radios" disappear. Which they would re-appear. Man these 2.4 "radios" they are sneaky little devils. B T W, we are talking about 2.4 "radios" on which you listen to the local news channel, or are we talking about some other equipment, because I can not bare to loose any more equipment.

No problem. But input on what.
Gas boats and 2.4gig Tx/Rx systems? Work great. Just use the Futaba system and you will have no problem. Any other you are bound to have some or other trouble.

Grim using the 2.4 from the vegas on his gas boat without any glitches...he said it has a 800 foot range...I was asking him alot of questions about because somebody wants to us it in his gas boat...But I still have a proublem trusting futaba.. Because I had to vegas second gen radios glitched on me three times..[:@]

thanks for the input guys I am running the 2.4 Tower radio in my wifes slash and so far it seems ok.
As far as my buddies 1000 dollar gas boat I just don't feel comfortable.
Went with the Hitec Agressor FM synthesized that is what he had the money for and there was a post about how well they seem to work.
He was running an old Airtronics sport AM radio so I think the agressor will work just fine.
I run the JR sythesized radio in my gasser with no issues other then range .
