Modified mounts for hanson clutch *pics*
Got my (hardly) used BH Hanson clutch in the mail this morning.
My boats setup with Arrow Shark drop mounts or whatever they are called. I find them quite good to use so i set about trying to make them work with the clutch.
My plan was to drill out the holes for the countersunk screws 10mm. This would allow the clutch mounting to seat in there snugly, and the engine side would do the same. After a few quick measurements, it seemed that they would even mate up as the normally would without anything inbetween... score
Below you can see i had to remove the small tab on the clutch housing, And the initial fitment
The engine side of the red mount needed some material removed... it was either that or off the engine. This is just to allow it to fit past some of the webs. Looks ugly, but since its mashed between it you cant see it anyway
