Default DXF plans.

Hi.

I just got my new Polini 39cc engine and I'm planning on mating it to a jet pump. Anyone got a few hull plans in CAD format (any hull will do, I will modify along the way). I going to laser cut these out of MDF. What sort of size am I looking at for the finished boat for that size engine?

you would want a 50" hull for that engine and you do not want to build it from MDF, it must be ply, 6mm for the engine rails and bulkheads and 3mm for all the sheeting

Why not MDF, if I may ask?

Is it a weight issue?

MDF will act like a sponge ... we don't like that for boats.

Buy multi-layer (model-building) marine-ply.
