Just a few photo's of the new Super Sport - 44 Sport Catamaran. Photo shows a mod Zenoah from HMH . It also now has a mod ABC 2618/ 10* prop from Dasboata.

Sure Randy . It's 16" x 44" . I ran the boat before I painted it and it was awesome . A video now won't be possible until this spring , sorry . The water levels are getting pretty low at the ponds.

That boat has had many transfomations over the years. It was originally Eddie Barnes' (Offshore RC Boats) Super-Cat then Bill at Top Speed got the molds and did a little work on them. Now Mountain Hobbies has them and whacked off the rear overhangs. There were also 3 different cowl options at the time, I think that one of those molds came up MIA.

Yeah actually Ron I whacked off the rear overhangs and re-designed the boat from the water line up . Gave it a face lift I guess you could say.

Great Cat!!! Something you should look into...here in District 9 we are supposed to have the prop covered ...I always check those around me to be sure they have some protection...it only takes 1 accident, ie a prop spinning of a shaft to do damage...(I don't make it a habit of preaching!)

Thanks Jay. We don't have any R/C boat clubs here so I didn't know about that rule. That's a very good point and I will be sure to cover the prop while it's on the stand for future outings.

Ha ha .. a simple bended tube was not good enough for you ? ;-)

Hmmm , I'd like to see some prop guard options if members here would like to share.

Ahhhh .. that alu-guard is more my style.

Also you could make a longer stand with a cross-section as a 'hull-stop'.

Yup i made one for my Apaches no reason you cant use a similar idea for a cat mount.

Just about done with my wife's cat. I ran mine with a Dasboata 2716/20* last weekend and I was very impressed. I'll try and GPS the speed next weekend.

A 2716/20* should be in every gas boaters prop box, they're a great place to start at if not the prop for the boat to like.
