95" Mystic Cat Wood

I own a CNC Router so I wanted something to try out.

Got these plans offline and edited them from ~50" to 95". I CNC cut the frames out of 1/4" plywood as a test before I move to the nicer wood. Sheeting is mostly designed and done for the bottom as well. Top is also designed but I messed up on the cut so I'll need to get more wood before the top piece is cut out. I am designing some drives that will reduce the overall cost of the boat as well.

Thanks guys. I'm hesitant on "selling" any because they are not my plans. I have edited and altered them but I don't know if I feel right making money off them. If anything, I would just charge for materials and the machine time.

This was my first big job cutting something on the CNC router so I assume it will only get better and quicker from here. Kinda teaching myself as I go. I'm scaling DOWN the plans for a guy for a FE boat to 30" so after him I will scale the originals to 60"ish and cut you a set Randy and Mart.

Alex the plans have been around for a few years now,i got them from a guy over in Argentina but his name escapes me he built a big one too not sure what size it was but it was big.Personally i wouldnt worry who drew the plans its based on the real thing and anything your doing is all your own work my friend.

Thanks Alex - just looking for a winter project and 60" (or so) is about max for me -- I have a small shop I play with toy boats in

Well, I cut a second set tonight and I will put those on to see if it sells. The CNC time adds up quickly between redesign and cutting. Now that I've got it scaled and redrawn, I can cut a few sets.

But yes, I will scale them back to 60" in the next couple weeks and let you guys know. Not that hard, but I have to adjust the main stringers to receive 6mm birch frames because when you scale the hull overall, the slots for the frames don't scale right. :) Anyway, give me a little bit and I promise I will be happy to help. Thanks for the interest.

Are you still selling 60"
