Trim Tab Position

Hi, do trim tabs have the angled side facing the stinger or away from it?

hope they make any sense, I can't seem to upload the photos i want.
Also I'll be installing them on a 47" mono, what would be the ideal distance out from the keel?

Cheers

Usually 2 inches out on each side will do it; Some go further out but once you go too far the trim tabs become ineffective once on plane. This is on a 45" Assault but the same thing on my 48" Assault.
This is your first posting and you have to have a certain amount of postings (I think 10) before you can post pictures.

Cheers for that. But I was also wondering about which way cut out goes.. \_| |_/ or |_/ \_|hope you understand my attempt at "drawing" them.
Also where did you get that radio box and how do you secure it to the rails?

If you have the tapered trim tabs kind of like what I'm getting the angles should face inwards, I made a set like that years ago for a nitro boat.
