1/4 scale Hydro (MISS BUD)?

Hello,.. I am looking for a manufacture, (or someone who can make) a 1/4 scale Hydro. I'm looking for a pretty modern design (w/in 5-7 years old). Wood or Glass, but prefer Glass/Composite. It's for a really great project, I willing to discuss with the 'right' person...

Any help is appreciated,...pass the word

Regards,
Dave

RE: 1/4 scale Hydro (MISS BUD)?

are you planning on riding in it? It woud be the size of a Datsun! Ive stood next to the real miss Bud, and its HUGE! I grew up 1/8 of a mile from where they run the columbia cup, in the tri cities WA., on the Kennewick side of the river. When I was a kid my Dad would put lawn chairs on the roof of our house and we would watch the races all weekend long. my best friends Dad was the Manager @ the Columbia Center Mall, and in 1971 my friend and I got to help wash the boats that they put on display in the mall. Miss Bud was Red and Gold with an Allison Engine back then. Pretty good memories. I still go to the races every chance I get but its been a few years.
its kind of funny that I've never built an unlimited Hydro, a few cats and tunnels and an outrigger but not an unlimited.:eek::eek: perhaps soon though. anyway good luck w/ your project!

...Perhaps I am looking for one that is aprox. 1/6th scale then. I'm looking for something in the 4 to4.5 ft long range. I thought I read about a Co. named Thunderboat Racing? Sound familiar to anyone?

Dave
