Funny - seems to have gone full circle with this model as the original boat was laid up about 3 miles from here. Link for those interested - [link=http://goetzboats.com/gallery/callan]Link to original manufacturer[/link]

Here is an old link from RC universe on the original - [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_2566613/tm.htm]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_2566613/tm.htm[/link]

I recommend checking out Hanspeters site with great videos of Curt Conrads Victory cat - if you ever find a nicer looking boat - BUY IT !!! [link=http://www.swissmodelpowerboatteam.ch/]swiss model powerboat team[/link] While the videos are large downloads - they are worth every minute in my opinion.

Here are pics of the hull I have coming - should see her in 2 weeks.

Just to keep things in perspective; do you guys realize that thing is bigger than the dinghy we used for the family sailboat, and has 4X the hp? -yeah, but the dinghy could carry operator plus three passengers (7' 6" Sabot- 600lb capacity, comes with sail and sideboard-not an inflatable) -So...who's ready to let their kid ride that thing? LOL

You should have seen my plans for my 96" vee (still awaiting delivery) with 3 drives and 33+hp.

I am not sure the boat would have the torque to move a kid but one way to find out !!! :D
