PLEASE HELP - WALBRO CARB FITTING?
 
I WANT TO CHANGE THE POSITION OF THE INLET FITTING ON A WALBRO CARB? CAN YOU JUST TURN IT ??? FEELS LIKE SHES GOING TO BREAK - THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR INFO

Grab it at the base and give it a carefull twist. Try to get it where it needs to be the first time, as the more you move it, the greater chance for leakage.

It's a press fit. Picture a tight fitting tube within a tube. I mean REALLY tight! Turn it too many times and it'll break. The ones that do happen to come lose usually develop air leaks and your motor runs lean all the time.

Set it and forget it!

use a pair of pliers with sharp teeth and wide enuff to to span the fitting, dont pinch it too tight and give her a twist. if you do break it, you can take the brass insert out and thread in a fuel barb or JB weld a brass tube over it
