The comp is to be held from 18th-25th April here in Brisbane at the Brisbane Model Marine club lake at Lawnton.

We hope to be able to hold a mini teams marathon race after most days of racing. Event will consist of 6 teams of 2 drivers. Each team will run a relay race of 10 laps per driver until 40 laps are completed. First team to complete the 40 laps wins $80. 2nd wins $40.

It should be a massive week of racing, so I hope a few of you locals can come for a look and maybe win some awesome raffle prizes. And a few foreigners might be tempted to come over for an Aussie summer/autum racing holiday.

It's not my call Mike. But if we did do it I think we would have to sell tickets in multiples to make the paypal fees worthwhile. There is also talk of having an auction for some items.
We found at the Qld Champs last year that you can only sell so many tickets to the same number of people each day.

Yes they are hard to sell at the race unless you have some dedicated people to keep hammering them out all day everyday! ;)
