i have a promod homelite the question is it has a pressure tap on the crankcase and one on the isoblock do i need to use bolth to run the waterpump reason im asking is i spent four hours f(*&^with the carb rebuilt it three times thinking i did somthing wrong then i noticed the crank case pressure tap and pulled all my fuel lines and pressure line to the waterpump and found that the builder of the boat had used a T to tie in bolth pressure taps .... hooked all the lines up and it fired up right away but now i have to tune the carb againe

One should be for the pump, the other for carb???
2 taps to a Tee doesn't give you any more pressure!

I am not understanding your response real well but am of the opinion as follows. (much the same as Mike I think)

Use crankcase fitting to work water pump. If your carb does not use an external pulse fitting (some carbs do - though not many) then block off the fitting from the iso block. I would avoid using a Tee fitting to join two pulse fittings.
