Default New at this never ran a boat,r/c anyway?

I bought the Mss Vegas .18 Duece. It's winter still here in upstate PA so it'll be awhile before i try this.I did start ordering stuff though,i ordered the Grim Racer grease and the 36x55 prop.I next want the aluminum turn fin.I wish to have it a little upgraded from the start.Any suggestions as to what else i should get? I appreciate all input,i need it.

Before you start trying to get all these upgrades.....run it first.....get a feel for it....make sure everything is tight and secure (but don't OVERTIGHT).Tweak the engine....make sureyou do a proper break-in... adjust and trim the radio.....look into adjustingthe strut if it aint running as fast as you think it should when youput theGrim prop on....run it....run it ...and run it and then come back here for more advice......

My 2 dolla and fiddy cent worth......

res3567 is right this boat will get it right out of the box with a little tunning of the motor your going to want to run it stock of a bit untill you get the hang of it when you do this you will have a good base line to work from when you start upgrading. as for the grim prop im not 100% but i thank it is a raw prop you are not going to want to run a raw prop you will tare up your drive line it has to be s & b

the one thing i can tell you is make shere that the motor and Stuffing tube are in line or you will brake drive shaft these boats are mass made so they are all made a little difrent your might be all right but i know when i got mine it was not and i broke 2 drive shafts before fixing it
but like res3567 said make shere everthing is tight but dont overtight stuff likes to come loss when you run this boat

as for the turn fin i had the upgrade from thre start so i dont know how it works with the stock one but i like mine (some will disagre with me ) it looks good and run good to but you will want to sharpen it
