Default PROP SETUP

I have a older "Sightler" v-bottom fiberglass boat, (for those who remember them), and was wondering if anyone could help me with the prop settings. Namely how far in the water the prop should sit. Maybe the distance from the centerline of the prop to the bottom of the "V" in the boat? I guess it's been too many years and I've forgotten. I'm running a K&B 7.5 engine. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Carl

OK here's the picture of the prop distance from the centerline of the prop to the bottom of the boat. I think the prop is a little deep in the water, what do you guys think?

For a SUBmerged prop this is OK.

But I think rebuilding to a surface-prop should give you more possibilities because more versatile.

You'll keep all this hardware ..but re-positioning it .. and you would need the enginemountholes to be slotted ,

because the engine angle will change.

Hi Hydro Junkie

This kind of combination can use the propeller of 45 - 48mm
Octura X445/3 is good
This kind of combination is suitable to used in the boat of 18-22 number of degrees !!!

In 1980, I am to use JG-125X Prop ( Photograph shows )

Hi pincho

You have 3 boats !
The first is OPS-45,
can change to X450/3prop ,Cancel 2 Adjustable Trim Plateses of near center line ..Using left / right is O.K. ( So change direction meeting is better, at the time of high speed, tail pulsates to decrease )

My American boat photograph of the 15cc of same year...
Also, use the rudder of Octura ..Ha.Ha...
