I have the original Hot Shot. It doesn't even have a picklefork. Still goes around the lake.

Darth Vader wasn't around way back then.
The original Hot Shot was just 24" long and very prone to blowing over. When the OB tunnels made their first appearance this was one of the hulls to have though even with its bad tendancies. Others were the Midwest Klampon-Kai and the Hughey. Soon afterwards they were coming out of the woodwork. This Hot Shot was probably one of the better looking ones of the time but that's my opinion.
