Default K&B 7.5 Crankshaft replacement

The crankshaft on my K&B 7.5 snapped today. What is the easiest way to remove the crankshaft from the bearing in the front housing?

Unscrew the collet , set nut on bolt-end , and tap out crank with wood/nylon/copper hammer.
