Default Want Boat plans and idea!

So im wanting to build a decent size boat about 4 feet long. I plan to put an old RC buggy moter into it and all that good stuff. Any body got any simple blue prints! Not much of a wood worker! Would love to see ur Custom boats! nitro or electric! gives me and idea of what to get!

A 3.3 isn't going to push a 48" boat at more than a crawl as it won't spin a prop large enough to do much good. If you really want to use that size motor, look at something between 28 and 36" long

Put it in a hull between 24 and 28 inches long as those are more of an ideal size for that engine. I've done a lot of .12 powered boats and you've got an .18 so there isn't much difference. If the heat sink is out in the breeze then you can chop off most of the heat sink as boats don't need it like they do under Lexan.
