Default JAE 21 Nitro Outrigger

Hi.

I have purchased a hardly run JAE 21 Nitro Outrigger with a Novarossi TOP Race T 21 M inboard Nitro engine, with Novarossi supplied tuned pipe.

It all needed a real good clean up.

Size 31" x 22.5"

4 issues I need some advice with:
  • No prop with it. So, what make, diameter/size, pitch prop would best suit this hull and motor for max speed? (Code No #). I can work the prop over / sharpen, etc.

  • What would be the max engine for this rig? Make, size? Prop.

  • What % fuel ?

  • What plug?

Thanks

Grahame

If you look in the instruction manual at the front, you'll see Rod's name there as he's part of the JAE team.
Get that NR dialed in and you'll have plenty of motor for that boat. Just take a change of underwear with you to the lake!

It's not that bad, Ron. That is unless one of us drives his boat

I had one Marc. I've built 2 of the .12's also and still have one of those.
I missed seeing Rod at Hobart this year. I didn't stay but only about 4-1/2 hours there as the weather was so crappy on that Saturday that I rolled down there. He sometimes brings a HUGE bag of Halloween candy with him to hand out to the kids that come down to watch.
They're good kits. A lot of the racers are running them now in both the .21 and .21 classes. Usually most of the JAE team shows up at Hobart. Truex is too busy running his NASCAR Cup car that weekend.
Here's a couple of David Hall's boats then Joe Petro, Mike Walker and David Hall.
