They are called hemostats. You can buy them at most tool places.
Good Luck

If that is what you want to use, you can put fuel tubing over the ends and it will prevent it from damaging your fuel line. Ken

You can use the hemostats also with the rubber antenna tips, clothes pins or IV regulators. www.grimracer.com has some shutoffs in there, part# 104 for $2.50 a pair. Look in the hardware section.

them fuel shut offs look nice im might order a pair of them too i alredy have my hemostat comin in the mail. hey Ron when u fuel up ur gray thunder does the fuel alredy start to travel along the line to the carb? myne seams to be doing that and its flooding it somehow so that guy pinched it off with the hemo i thought thats what the primer pump is for? to pump it to the carb but myne goes without even pushin the primer

I've got a Sullivan SS-4 tank mounted in mine so I no longer have the primer. I pull off the fuel line from the carb to fill it using an electric pump. There is fuel already in the line then so all I have to do is pull it over to start it.

that brings up another question.. for the tank the guy told me to get a soft brass tube and bend it right in the front of the tank and not to use the klunk method.. how did u do urs? what kind of brass is it? like a number or brand?

also for the engine once its been leaned and set right it shouldnt flood no more when i first start it? and do u flood the engine to clean out the after run oil for the first time? then empty the flooded fuel an then start it?

Carefully bend the brass trubing to go into the rear corner of the tank by the opening. Bend the other one up towards the vent at the top of the tank. It will take a while to get it right. cut off the excess tubing. Also, one more thing, Sullivan makes the tanks 2 ways, one harder than the other. The softer one is more transparent which makes plumbing it easier.

Yes, the brass that came with it unless you can get some softer. That's why my last response started with "Carefully".

Heat the brass up with a torch then let it cool and it will bend real easy. not red hot either just get it hot.
