Default 1/4 scale V8 jetsprint using the Swashdrive Hydrojet

Check this out. It belongs to my brother (Craig Wyeth). It is the coolest thing I have seen in a while!
The first 1/4 scale fully working V8 jetsprint using a Swashdrive Hydrojet.

This project is purely for promotion of the Swashdrive Hydrojet and will be on display at Big Boys Toys show in Brisbane, Australia 14th to 16th November 2003.

Totally fresh, original and quite possibly a one off project.
An original Big Boys Toy !

Check out the bench test movie!!!!

Well the jetboat is all finished and runs well, though its not as pratical as the Zenoah but its worth the extra hassle
just cause its a V8. Mr Conley is a true legend and full credit to him on one amazing machine. I don't think i will see a finner engine in my lifetime

No, Forum Moderators can do this and other things. Most of the time we can edit or remove the nasty things. I hate to do some of the stuff that I have to do by just like a cop, I have to follow the rules whether I like them or not. I've followed Swash's articles over on the other site.

I've seen the Conley engines at the Toledo Expo. He has some other owrks of art also, the Viper V-10 and the (I think) Olds Double Overhead Cam V-8.

Hi Guys,

I saw the jetboat on trademe for sale. I also notice a lot of people might like a demo. not his sunday, but the following sunday, we have a race meeting at wattle Farm ponds, off coxhead road manurewa. we will be racing 1/8 hydros and class 2 boats (up to .45 engine) that day, feel free to bring the boat along for a demo, we also have a rescue dinghy on had should you need to rescue it in a hurry.

Do you have any other boats ? we race the second and the fourth sunday of everymonth, we run the following classes

1/8 hydros
45 hydros
class 2 - up to .45
class 1 - up to 35cc ( i think )

because of the number of boats we have in the club we run 1/8's and class 2 one day, then the following meeting .45 hydros and class 1 boats.

see our club page http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/nickbree/mmpbc/

Cheers

Matt

I'm looking to contact Swashdrive to purchase 4 hydrojets but they don't have a phone number on their website. I've sent them an email, but no response so far. Does anyone have a phone number or address for them?

Thanks.

The only thing that I can tell you is to click on his name and his Bio will come up. You can then e-mail or PM him that way. Fast Rat probably knows how to get in touch with him.
