Default Monohull and/or deep v plans

Howdy. Does anyone have any links to a site or sites where I can download/print some plans for some deep v's or monohulls or similar speed boats? I plan on doing a scratchbuild.

Good luck, nobody is giving away much of anything any more. I can't blame them, it takes a lot of time in designing and testing to make up a set of plans. If it's junk, then nobody would get any more of theirs. Spend the money on plans, it's well worth the cost.

There are a "few" on
http://www.rcboatmodeler.com/
Here is a site also , might aid you with a few things .... ( not exact details , but .... )
http://www.gasboats.freeservers.com/
And another :
http://www.fortunecity.com/athena/fe...1568/index.htm
Might find this a little helpful also:
http://www.rcboataholic.com/fe_calc.htm
You might also check on RUM RUNNERS site .....

There are some free downloads on www.microhydros.com.

What size boat are you thinking of building?
Look in my gallery, I could mail you frame-plans for those.

Regards, Jan.

RG501, did google, yahoo, etc.....not much stuff for speed boats but a good amount of plans for cabin cruisers, tugs, sailboats, etc.

Anyways, HINT TO EVERYONE: if you plan on doing a scratch build stay away from Mahogany. I wanna do my cigarette/v/mono out of wood for that awesome wood shine like on those classis Chris-Craft speed boats from 30s, 40s and 50s. Anyways, this stuff (Mahogany) is seriously hard to cut. My Dremel bogs down like crazy...aluminum is easier in my opinion than Mahogany. But since I already bought $40 of the wood (which is only about a 6'x10" plank...that wood is really expensive) I guess I'm stuck with it.

Hard to break yes, but will definitely be hard to get nice again...a hit might crack/scratch the varnish and I know on real wood boats varnishing is VERY time-consuming and hard to get perfect.
