What boat are you looking at?
If you can't read German (I can't either), use a translator such as AltaVista. I use that for reading Japanese from a friends site.

There is a lot of great hardware to be had here in the US for whatever boat that you choose.

RE: Where to buy H&M hardware
Hi Ron i have a H&M Drifter L cat hull i have been trying to find an inline strut rudder. I purchased one from Fullers and that was too small & i purchased another from Aeromarine & that one was too large. I need one with a footprint no larger than 1 1/4 tall & 1 1/2 wide. I also would like the bracket to be between 3" - 4" long & a rudder about 5" tall.

Hey, I found it this morning while surfing the sites. Chris Fine of Fine Design carries the H&M line.

RE: Where to buy H&M hardware
I called Chris Fine a couple of months ago about the H&M hardware & he said he dosen't carry ther line of hardware just there hulls. I would have bought some of his hardware (Its very nice stuff) but he diden't have anything in a inline strut rudder only in an offset & i wanted an inline.I don't race i just do this for fun & i just liked the way the inlines look. I E-mailed Pompebled & hopefully he can help me out with H&Ms website. Thanks again Ron & Pompebled. I don't know what i would do without this forum. Bryan

Have you checked out Octura? They have an inline setup like what you want, takes up very little space on the transom and at a low cost compared to some of the others. You can get the rudder in two lengths to fit your needs. There is a choice of aluminum or Beryllium copper.
I can't speak for Jan, but you're welcome. It's what we're here for. We ask questions too.
