I am about to put the wood and plans away. I am thinking of just buying a hull and maybe when I get better at things I'll try again. What do you think about this hull, can i convert it to a nitro. It is 29" long and 11" wide.

that looks like an aeromarine hull. You should be able to convert it to nitro

Its a mini areomarine hull. Fine designs has them on sale for 150.00.

kk, thought so, what grit sandpaper would you use for my shiny red gelcoat? or should i just use Glass paper?

Well, with clear coat on cars the sand with 1500 or higher and then buff it.

So, what do you think I should do everyone. Should I just get a fiberglass hull and think about building the wildthing when I learn some patients?

its up to you dude. do you have a version of the wildthing plans on your pc. i would like some but cant afford to pay for them, what with everything else n all.Also, have you thought about building your wildhing, then making a Fibreglass mould for it? you could have a fiberglass one... just a thought. Also, how long is your christmas break??? you could just build your wild thing through that (if its long enough) or, you could do as much of your wild thing as possible and then get a fibreglass hul;l after crimbo if you still cant be assed.

Sure I thought about that. BUT, I am tired of dealing with the twisted hull. I am going to have more in wood then I could just buy a fiberglass hull with. Sorry, no I don't have plans on the computer. I would have no clue how to put them on anyway.

I just need some help on whether I should just buy a fiberglass hull. I was going to build a big cat at one point but it was going to cost over 1000.00 bucks. I would have looked at this cat first but I never thought I would have the engine for it and a radio. Now all I am going to be missing is a hull[&o][&o][&o][&o]

I think I know what I'm going to do right now. I am going to order that hull and get it running. Once I get that done I am going to work on the wildthing. I have to order another piece of plywood for the bottom but thats it. I would just build the wildthing but I've always wanted a cat!!!

Then I'll just get the wildthing done and buy an engine and then I'll have 3 boats.[8D]

I think I am going to talk to my dad soon and order the hull. I am still going to build the wildthing but I'll do that slowly. And I've always wanted a cat.
