They are a very high quality boat. I am hoping to order on someday this week. I am going to use it to replace my NH hull.

I looked at that boat for the first time yesterday. This is Warehouse Hobbies second shot at a small mono. The first one was a small version of their Gator. The price isn't bad on this one and ought to be a good seller for them. The assembly doesn't look bad either except for joining the hull.

Well this will be the 1st boat I have to actually put together, I have had the Villian RTR but doubt this will be a difficult task. Just trying to figure out what the best hardware, engine mount, rudder, things like that would be? Go with their products or make my own set up? Any suggestions?

Thanks

It actually should be simple to put together, some people have the fear of joining the deck and hull. What WHH is using is Octura gear on the transom, not bad stuff for the price.

I actually seen the boat last month when i drove down to lake placid to pick up a cracker box hull, i can tell you it is a very nice looking hull and the ones i saw where joined together i dont think Tony would sell them separate but then again i could be wrong, as i understand only the rails are not installed.
It should fly with a .21 and some speedmasters hardware

I called and asked a couple questions this morning and he said you have to put it together. You put everything in and then put the top on with silicone. I am just putting a .15 in it for now but you never know when I might get the more power bug

Ejp go to the hyperformance site, they have a nice cheap .18 water cooled inboard engine. It has even more rpm and the same hp as the Os .18 engine.

I like ejp's idea I might even do the same thing! I would take the stuff out of my hammer and use the motor I talked about above. Sorry for stealing your idea LOL. Although I still am undecided.

You could wait until I get mine to see if you like it but then you would have to spend another 20.00 bucks because it would be over on ebay. I am prolly going to put that engine in it later this year when I get a job.

PS. I have no problem with you copying my idea
