oen of my buddies had one, nad my mrs.bud could out run it, my estimate would be about 25-30mph stock if you mod the boat,it might be faster.

Ok, because I've read that the Nitro Vee (with the Pro.15) only does around 15mph. You guys are saying 25?

no it definately goes faster then that, i have a villan 4, and it goes 18, the nitro vee easily outruns it. however, there is less torque.

I have a had a Nitro Vee for a long time and completely stock it goes about 20-22mph with good tuning. Mine now has a metal Prather prop and a cevec tuned pipe and I have also done alot of adjuistments on the drivetrain and spent alot of time tuning and I am guesing it now goes 25-26MPH at the most. The nitro vee is a great beginners boat but its not a speed demon.

true... and your evaluation is correct, not fast, but fast enought to get you in trouble, the nitro vee is great for a begginer. if you are looking for speed, this is not your boat.

its a perfect boat for starters, unless however, you have never dealt with rc before, if youve driven rc cars, or flown planes, you shouldnt have a problem with this boat.

i have a nitro vee and i might suggest you steer away from the whole steerable outdrive thing as it flips the boat a lot and it has no radio box so your electronics usually fry. i like the rts though that is nice except all the weight from it. ive since put large turn fins on mine and it doesnt flip anymore, so if you do buy one order some turn fins with it.
