cool that was quick. thanks guys. Prestwich ive been on their site before , what fuels can i buy big amounts of in the UK, i know where i can in the US, but so far, nowhere in UK.

As you should all know by now, im in this purely for speed really, so which prop would be best out of these for a .45 engine

Octura
X450/3
X455

I tend to use Model Technics Duraglo, or Dynaglow depending on which CMB I am running.
I usually mix a bit of extra EDL oil in it, just to up the oil content. I sometimes mix my own fuel but I don't do that so often now.

For instance on my C Class FSR-V with a Dave Marles modified CMB RS91 I use Duraglo16, not particularly high in Nitro, but the engine has to survive a 20 minute heat and then a 30 minute race.

You can get fuels here [link]http://www.prestwich.ndirect.co.uk/engine_equipment.htm[/link] delivered to your door, but it is a 4 gallon minimum order

Firstly which tanks were you looking at. The really large tanks are for FSR-V boats.

What size tank are you after? Rough dimensions/overall capacity

well, ideally im looking for one that will fit squarely between 5" rails/stringers but would need to be quite low so probarbly about 16oz, i have found one on towerhobbies, but that means shipping to UK. Any comments on props yet (see above)

Also i am thinking about buying the black radio box off prestwich as i cba making my own. what do you think of this choice, i wish to know, do you get a plat with the radio box for mounting servos in, or are they just boxes with lids and nothing in.

If i was to race in an organised event,m i wouldnt need a number plate would i?

Radio boxes are one of those things that some will say you NEED , while , others , like myself , say , its a big waste of time and money . I WATERPROOF my servos and RX, hence , no need for a radio box . ( and yes , basically , they are nothing more than their name " A BOX" .... can be made out of tupperware , wood .. fibreglass with a lexon top ... just about anything that is water-proof . )
Props ... that all depends on the engine .. ( make , size , and marine , or air that has been adapted )
Number plate ????? maybe there ,..... not here ....

Props as TERBObob says will depend on your engine type & setup amongst other things

The radio box from prestwich probably wont have any servo mounts in it.

Number plate wise, if it is an organized race, you will have your MPBA number on the top side of your boat, either a decal or just painted on.
You will also have a number plate of roughly 120x100mm mounted vertically, showing qualifying/pit position. This is usually made of polypropylene
