Default What do i use to grease shaft?

Hey, i haven't touched my nitro hammer in like a year. I disassembled most of it so i could get at the drive shaft and lubricate it but the thing is...i totally forgot what to use. Will vaseline or something along those lines work? household stuff? i really dont wanna go back to the hobby store and get something when i have something at home that works fine.

You can buy a small vile of grease from Prather, Aeromarine etc for to many $$$$$ or you can go to your local Mercury Marine dealer and get a small tube of 2-4C water proof grease for a reasonable price.
